What Is GhostTap

GhostTap is a cross-platform Bitcoin wallet and merchant payment terminal. Send and receive private Bitcoin payments with a tap of your phone or a scan of a QR code.

Available on iOS, Android, and desktop (macOS, Windows, Linux via Tauri v2). NFC tap-to-pay for in-person payments, with full Ghost Pay L2 integration for instant transfers.

How It Works

GhostTap connects to the Ghost network through a Ghost Service Provider (GSP) for chain sync, while keeping all keys and signing local to your device.

Key Derivation

Standard BIP-44 HD key derivation (coin type 531). Create a new wallet or import via BIP-39 seed phrase. Keys are stored in your device's secure enclave or keychain.

Chain Sync via GSP

Connects to a Ghost Service Provider over WebSocket for lightweight chain synchronization. No need to download the full blockchain.

Ghost Pay L2

Instant transfers settle in ~10 seconds on the Ghost Pay L2 layer. Lock funds to Ghost Pay for fast spending, settle back to Bitcoin L1 on-demand.

L1 Settlement

Settle your L2 balance back to any Bitcoin address at any time. Your funds are always backed by real Bitcoin UTXOs.
